You can delete your Ultimate Spelling Battle account and all the data that goes with it at any time.
Option 1 — in the app (instant)
- Open Ultimate Spelling Battle.
- Tap the ⚙️ Settings button on the home screen (on an iPhone, iPad or Android phone).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap 🗑️ Delete my account & data.
- Tap Delete forever to confirm. You need an internet connection.
Option 2 — by email (if you no longer have the app)
Email us from any address and tell us your player name as it appears on the leaderboards. To help us find the right account, include your country and roughly when you last played. We delete the account within 30 days and reply to confirm.
What gets deleted
- Your player name and its reservation, profile photo and photo check result
- Your progress, cloud save, Honeycombs, hint coins, costumes and other items
- Every leaderboard and Spelling Battle score, Online Battle rating and stats
- Reports other players made about you, and the link between you and reports you made
- Your anonymous player ID and any linked sign-in on our side (Google, Play Games, Sign in with Apple or Game Center)
What we keep
- Purchase records (the Google Play purchase token or App Store transaction and the product only, with your player ID removed), so a purchase can't be credited twice and refunds can be handled. Your purchases stay with your Google or Apple account, and Premium can be restored with "Restore purchases" if you play again.
- Apple Watch scores and streak live only on your watch: delete the watch app to remove them.
- Word statistics (how often each word is answered correctly), which are not linked to any player.
- Anonymous usage statistics already sent to Google Analytics, kept for up to 14 months.
Deleting can't be undone. More details are in our Privacy Policy. Questions: privacy@spellingbattle.com.
